Happy October, everyone! I hope that everyone is blessed and enjoying this fall weather. First of all let me say that I truly apologize! The last couple of months have been a whirlwind of events in my life that had me take a step back and re-evaluate everything in my life. For those of you that follow me on Instagram, you are aware of the passing of my beloved grandmother in July. When I say that hit hard, that is an understatement!
Honestly, I put everything on pause through my grief. Life stopped and I started questioning everything. Not only because I lost her (although that was enough), but by the way things had been going down leading up to her passing. It made me truly question everyone & everything-loved ones, career moves, etc. Without getting into the grave details, I knew that she would have wanted me to be the shining star that I am. To continue to be a positive reinforcement and help others, but most importantly, my grandmother always told me to enjoy life. Do the things that I loved and wanted to do as long as it doesn't bring harm to others. I said all of this to say, that while I am not over my grief (I never will be), I began to have a renewed spirit in regards to new ideas, thoughts, and plans for my life. With God always being in the forefront of my life, I am determined to come harder for the rest of 2018 and 2019. That includes giving you my book 3 (currently in progress), the start of my networking club (I had my first meeting October 3-I'm so stoked...more to come), as well as a couple of other things that I have in the works. With that being said, the moral of my testimony is that no matter what you are going through, there is a light in the darkness. My grandmother's love and gentle helping spirit is what I will always carry with me no matter where I am and what I am doing. Rise above your circumstances. Each day, you get a little stronger. Readers, thank you for all the love and support you have shown, Whether through your encouragement, kind words of condolences, the support and love shown through the purchasing of my books, etc. Words can't express my gratitude. Keep fighting your own good fight. Follow your heart. Do what you love. Love who you love. Fight to be the positivity in a world full of hate and strife. My wish for you all is love, peace, and happiness. Wishing you all the peace, love, and blessings, go be great! Senoj The Writer.
